Sovereign Ventures and Transnational Capital Announce Completion of Funding for Baltic Cranberry Corporation
Sovereign Ventures, Inc. and Transnational Capital Corp. announced the completion of a funding for Baltic Cranberry Corporation, a St. Petersburg, Russia-based organic fruit processor. Terms were not disclosed. Funds were provided by Organic Ingredients, a subsidiary of SunOpta, Inc.
Baltic Cranberry Corp. is a Delaware corporation that purchases, processes, and exports Certified Organic forest berries from its headquarters in St. Petersburg, Russia. BCC is a recognized bulk ingredients supplier to the organic berry and juice industry in the US, Canada, and the European Union. BCC’s wild forest berry products are certified under European Union Council Regulation No. 2092/91 and US Department of Agriculture-NOP regulations.
