Recent TCC Advisory Board Member Matthew Murray Named Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia by the US Department of Commerce's International Trade Administration
The US Department of Commerce announced that effective March 12 Matthew Murray, an expert in Russian affairs and a strong leader in promoting good governance and anticorruption, has joined the U.S. Department of Commerce’s International Trade Administration (ITA) as the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Europe and Eurasia.

A Transnational Capital Advisory Board member since 2005, Murray most recently served as President of Sovereign Ventures, Inc., a risk management firm he founded to advise multinational corporations and multilateral institutions on how to reduce governance and corruption risk in Russia, Central Asia, and Eastern Europe.
